Dat er al genoeg negativiteit en ellende is, g*dverd*mme, vloekten we een paar maanden geleden. Dus maakten we voor ons modenummer dat nu in de winkel ligt, een Shiny Happy People dossier. Eén en al optimisme en anti-verzuring. Alsook: een playlist met positieve songs over graag zien, de zon en dromen.
Songs met ietwat niveau ook, 'Here Comes the Sun' van The Beatles, 'California Dreamin'' van The Mamas & The Papas en Bob Marley's 'One Love'. U raadt het goed: hier ging een langdurige - en wreed plezierige - selectieprocedure aan te pas. Enkele nummers kregen een unanieme njet wegens te afgezaagd ('Happy' - Pharell Williams) of té fout ('Summer of 69' - Bryan Adams).
Tien songs die de happy-playlist net niet haalden, maar waar we toch guilty-pleasure-gewijs zéér goed gezind van worden.
